My name is Daurien MacLean. I am the owner and operator of The Puppy Haven. I have been a trusted Professional Pet Sitter for 9 years. The reason why I created The Puppy Haven was because I wanted to give pet parents a new solution that provides a more of a homey stay for their pets, versus boarding their pets in a kennel. The Puppy Haven was created to be a safe haven for your pet when you are away. You can rely on me to work around your schedule to ensure that your pet is safe and cared for while you are at work or away on vacation.

Pet Sitting is a blast for me and a guaranteed good time for your pet. I visit new parks and hiking areas and engage in play time and fetch. My family and I live in a beautiful loving home in Shelburne Ontario, Canada.

My favourite part about being a Professional Pet Sitter is that I get to work with so many amazing families. I don’t just consider myself a Pet Sitter, but also a Friend. When working with families and their animals, I have become that Friend who steps in during hard times. I have seen many of my clients go through different stages in their lives, such as happy moments of marriage, weddings, engagements, pregnancies and babies. However, I have also seen the harder moments like health issues, a scary diagnosis and loss of a loved one.

The Puppy Haven isn’t just a business, it is a Haven for families and their pets to feel comforted, a place where trust is built, and where relationships and friendships live.
